Assessments
Assessing your requirements » It is fundamental to the service we offer that we do everything possible to find the most appropriate chair for your requirements, and provide you with the training and information necessary for you to gain the optimum health and productivity results from your workchair. In our process of assessment, and in any advice we offer, we will take into account any recommendations that have already been received from a health specialist. We can help in a variety of different ways, subject to what is most practical and convenient to meet your requirements. The procedure is as follows:
Step 1a On Site Visits
An appointment can be arranged for an advisor to call to see you. Here we can show and discuss the wide choice of chair models available, discuss which will best suit your requirements, and allow full evaluation of all models that would potentially offer the solution.
Step 1b Telephone Questionnaire
We can arrange for a telephone consultation with a member of our assessment team, who will run through a questionnaire with the user to help us to determine their precise needs, leading us to the selection of an appropriate chair. Our consultation will focus on questions about the user's health needs, their physical size and the work tasks they perform.
Step 2 Quotation
We are normally asked to provide a quotation to the person nominated for ordering, detailing the model and price of the appropriate chair. The quotation is sent by fax or e-mail, and if there are any queries at this stage we will be pleased to discuss our recommendation with them. If all parties are reasonably confident that our recommendation is appropriate move to Step 4. If there are still unresolved queries, arrangements can be made for further visits.
Step 3a Loan of Demonstration Chair
If we are uncertain which model of chair will be most appropriate to the user's requirements, or if there are unsolved queries, we can arrange for one of our advisors to deliver a demonstration model and leave it with the user for up to one week to assist their decision. This option isn't normally necessary, as our recommendations have proved to be very accurate as long as we have obtained a full consultation during Step 1. It should also be noted that all new chairs that we've recommended are provided 'on approval' (see Step 4)
Step 3b Chair Assessment Clinic
This option has been used successfully in situations where a number of people from the same site require chairs. We can then arrange to bring a number of our chairs to the site and hold a clinic to asceratin the needs of each user. Depending on the requirement, we can either see each person separately or give a group presentaion with some time spent later with each individual. Once these extra options have provided the information we need, a quotation will be provided as per Step 2.
Step 4 Delivery, Assembly and User Training.
Once we've received your order, we will arrange for it to be delivered to the user 'on approval'. The chair will be assembled and set up correctly for the user, and training will be given by a member of our team to ensure that the optimum health and productivity benefits are achieved. We have found that instruction on how and why to adjust, relating each feature to the user's health needs, task or size. Most chairs are designed to provide a holistic health result, and our advice and training help to provide the optimum health solution to each user's needs.
As we are in business of Seating Solutions, we will take the chair back for refund, or provide an appropriate replacement, if the model we've supplied is found by the user to be inappropriate to their requirements.
